Due to the five inclement weather days which were used throughout the school year, the last day of school was scheduled to occur on Monday, June 10, 2013. However, the State Superintendent of Schools has approved Dr. Devine’s request for a waiver for Cecil County Public Schools to maintain the originally scheduled last student day. Therefore, the last day of school for students will be Friday, June 7,2013. The last day for ten month employees will be Tuesday, June 11, 2013.
Kindergarten Registration began April 8 and the Pre-Kindergarten Application process begins April 15. Applications for both these programs are available at ALL elementary schools. For additional information about each program, go to http://www.ccps.org/ecd/.
May 24 will be a regular school day for students. This was a designated inclement weather make-up day which will be used to account for one of the instructional day that was missed. June 7 will be the last day for students.
