Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year and thank you for visiting Bay View Elementary School’s website.  We are proud of our school and our commitment to ensuring the success of every child.  The mission and vision of Bay View reflect the pride and dedication of our entire school community.  We are eagerly looking forward to another great year and encourage you to become an active part of the Bay View community.

Please know that your children are valued and cared for everyday at Bay View Elementary School and that their academic success and safety are our top priority.  We thank you in advance for all of the ways as parents that support us in achieving our school, county, and state goals.  Commitment to a quality education for the students of Bay View Elementary School is a commitment we all share.

Assistant Principal's Message

Welcome back!  As the relaxing days of summer vacation wind down, it’s time to reflect on the many wonderful memories made with family and friends.  Hopefully, each day was spent with meaning and purpose, allowing you to fully enjoy the beauty of the season.  It’s with great excitement we now turn our eyes to another productive and rewarding schoolyear!  Each new year allows us to begin fresh and focus on new goals and challenges.  

Here are Ten Recommendations for a Successful a School Year:

1. Get a good night’s sleep each night
2. Pack your materials the night before
3. Eat a good breakfast
4. Be on time for the bus
5. Enter school with a smile
6. Always do your best
7. Have fun as you learn
8. Show respect to others at all times
9. Be responsible for bringing things to school and taking them home
10. Always use good manners

Remember, it’s not just about reading the recommendations above; it’s about making an effort to put them into practice! Enjoy the remainder of your summer. I can’t wait to see your smiling faces on August 25th!
