Every Child, A Successful Learner, Everyday!

The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at Bay View is off to a great start for the 2007-2008 school year! We work with the faculty and staff to organize various school and academic events at Bay View. We meet once a month to discuss upcoming events and to vote on how our funds are spent.

All Bay View parents and faculty are encouraged to join the PTO. If you would like to become a member, please contact Dawn Branch at dbranch@ccps.org or 410-287-7581.

It's not too late to join PTO either.  Membership dues are $5.00 per family. The main goals for BVES PTO are to get families more involved with school-wide activities.  These activities include: monthly meetings, bingo, gardening, trick or treat/scarecrow making, Breakfast w/ Santa, & many more. Members of our PTO are encouraged to attend meetings and have your voice heard as well vote on items presented at meetings. Our meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month in the Art room.

Ongoing Projects

BoxTops for Education

www.boxtops4education.com - Please send in your Box Tops 4 Education. Clip and send box tops in to your child's teacher each today. The class that collects the most box tops will win a pizza party at the end of the year. Last year we earned over $700!

Campbell's Labels

Please send the UPC codes fro Campbell's products (including Pepperidge Farm & many others). We earn points that we exchange into items our school needs.

Food Lion Shop & Share

Just as a reminder we are still participating in the Food Lion Shop & Share program. Each time you shop at Food Lion and use your MVP card, a portion of your total grocery purchase will be donated to the school. To enroll in the program simply go to www.foodlion.com and register today! What an easy way to provide funding to your child's school! If you do not have access to a computer, we will be sending a form home soon. Also, please remember that you must re-enroll in the program every year. If you enrolled last year, you must re-enroll in the program every year. If you enrolled last year, you must re-enroll for this year.

School Store

If your child is in need of school supplies, they will have the opportunity to purchase these necessary supplies at our school store on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:45AM - 9:00AM. We offer pencils, erasers, writing tablets, scissors, glue sticks, crayons, etc.
