Are You Ready to Discover the Titanic?

The Titanic was an enormous cruise line ship that set sail from Southampton, England on Wednesday, April 10, 1912.  The ship was bound for New York City. Many were amazed at how the huge boat filled the Southampton port. Traveling at record breaking speed, the Titanic's journey was cut short. At 11:40 pm on  Sunday, April 14, 1912 the Titanic hit an  iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean. By 2:20 am the ship broke in half, and then sunk. Only 705 passengers survived and 1,523 did not. Today scientists are still searching the ocean floor in order to unlock the secrets of the Titanic.
