Pre-K News
Pre-K is moving right along! This week we began our reading theme called, Let’s Move. Over the next 3 weeks we will be learning about ways to move our bodies, ways to describe body movements, and how we can play and move together. We will learn letters Jj, Hh, and Ii. We will continue to learn beginning sounds and rhyming words. We will learn about differences between real and make believe.
In math we will be learning about comparing sizes of objects using vocabulary words such as big, bigger and biggest. We will also be learning about the order and sequence of things such as the sequence of the day and the order in which flowers grow.
Please remember that Mondays and Wednesday’s are our days in the gym and with the warmer months coming it is important to make sure your child is wearing the proper shoes. Also, please check for any library books your child may have at home and send them in as soon as possible.
Happy Spring!
