Grandparents’/Special Persons’ Day was a great success.  Students took pride in showing off their work and their room.  Along with that day came our Fruit and Friendship Feast.  Thank you for all of your fruit donations.  Students really enjoyed cutting and mixing the fruit salad to share with their friends and special people.

We have an in-school program coming up in January.  Fair Hill Nature Center will be visiting our classes and conducting a hibernation program.  Students may perform in a play and visit various centers.

We have completed Unit 3 and are working through Unit 4 in Math.   Students will be focusing on numbers 0-40.  We will also continue with more, less, same and addition and subtraction with numbers to 5.  We have been working through our Theme 4, Friends Together.  Theme 5, Let’s Count, will start at the beginning of January.

We have chosen a tree to adopt in the schoolyard.  Students have enjoyed drawing and observing the changes in our tree.  We will continue to observe our tree throughout the year
