Guidance Department News

Students are encouraged to visit the Guidance Office for assistance or information. A student needing to see the counselor during class time MUST receive permission from the classroom teachers and must complete a form requesting an appointment with a counselor. The student will then be notified of the time when the appointment has been scheduled and will be given an excuse to present to the appropriate classroom teacher. Counselors will meet with students early in the year in order to explain this procedure. An appropriate pass (hall pass, guidance pass, or signed planner) is required to visit the Guidance Office. Students must be careful not to abuse guidance visitation privileges.
