T - Tripping -

A penalty which occurs when uses his stick or any part of his body to trip an opposing player. This will result in a 2-minute penalty and a power play for the other team.

U - Under-led Pass -

A pass made from behind or from the side of a teammate. This makes it difficult for him to control the puck.

V - Vezina Trophy -

' An award given out to the best goalie in the league since 1927. Named after the late Georges Veznia.
