Do you eat meat, most people do. Producing industries raise cattle, chickens, and other animals that are to be eaten by humans. Most people don’t even think about it when they bite into a chicken leg at dinner. Though there are some people who refuse to eat meat. They think killing animals to eat is morally wrong. Americans spend $50 billion dollars in meat. The meat industry is so large that that it fears the public’s concern for animals. 90% of the farmland is used for meat operations. Living, suffering animals aren’t shown in advertisement. Instead happy cows and smiling pigs is what you see. Do you ever think about that what you eat was suffering or dying? Some people disagree. 44% of land is grass and vegetation that humans cannot eat. Animals can eat grass and vegetation, so we get meat from animals (ex: cows.) Younger people basically live off of hotdogs and hamburgers. Meat contains twice as much energy as carbs. Meat also contains 10 amino acids needed for human life. What side will you take? |
