Deck- this is the wooden part that you put your feet on.

Trucks ­ The metal parts on the bottom of your board letting you turn from side to side

Wheels ­ These are what let your skateboard ride on the ground

Bearings ­ These are what let your wheels spin, the better the longer they spin

Grip tape ­ A sand paper like substance, which is put on the top of your deck. It allows you to stay on your board and do tricks

Hardware ­ the nuts and bolts, which you use to put your trucks on your board.
Riser pads ­ This equipment raises your board a little more off the ground for a better feel. They are optional; most people prefer to ride without them
