Formed

A tornado is formed when very strong winds moving clockwise meet very strong winds moving counter clockwise, and they start spinning faster and faster. A thunderstorm starts and then rotates moving the winds even faster. A spinning column works its way down the storms up current and toward the ground, it appears a funnel cloud.

The eye is the middle of the tornado. In the eye it is very calm and gentle unlike the outside. People that have been in a tornado and lived say that the eye is like  peaceful meadow and you would never know you were in the tornado.

In the eye it is usually raining. They do not know why but they say it could be from what the tornado goes over top of and maybe it is a creek or something with water. The water travels up the tornado and lets go of it at the top.
