Most of Mexico's land is mountainous dry. Only about half the land can be farmed, and only one-eighth can be planted with crops. The nonagricultural areas contain mountains, urban developments, and forest. Some of the food in Mexico consists of corn, beans, chilies, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, different kinds of squashes, avocados, nuts, vanilla, cocoa, bananas, and other tropical fruits. They eat wild pig, deer, rabbit, armadillo, and iguana. Corn is one of the most popular veggies. Certain foods such as tortillas, tomatoes, onions, garlic, and chillies are used for cooking
