Your final product will be a research report containing a cover, a paper, and a formal bibliography page. Use the information from your note cards and questions to guide your writing. Use your source cards to create your bibliography. Organize your project in the following order.

Cover...

neat, title, your name, date, optional artwork

Paper...

neat, interesting introduction, organized and well-developed paragraphs, parenthetical citation of sources, correct spelling and grammar, evidence that you are using your research to form your own understanding and personal insight

Formal Bibliography...
correct format, minimum one print resource and two non-print resources, correct spelling

Once you have completed your rough draft, visit the student rubrics to evaluate your work. Revise your project according to the rubric's criteria. Exchange papers with another student and peer edit. Conference with your teacher about any concerns you may have.
