Synthesizing: YOU, the researcher, must reorder information and make connections to develop decisions and solutions. Evaluating: YOU, the researcher, must determine whether the information gathered is sufficient to support a conclusion.

After evaluating your information, you may decide that you need to go back to find more information. Now is the time to do it! You will need to return to Step 2: Planning or Step 3: Gathering.
