Presidents Project

Choose one of the following seven presidents to research. You will need to choose two topics/issues that your president faced. You must use three sources for your research; one source should be an encyclopedia or library book, second source is your textbook (using the pages listed on your handout) and finally one website from the list below. Follow the slide template to record your information while you are researching. When the information is complete on all eight slides, you will be ready to create your PowerPoint presentation.

Plagiarism is when a person purposely takes the work of others and represents it as his own.  Use paraphrasing, parenthetical documentation, and direct quotes to avoid plagiarism.

Keep a bibliography of where you located your information as you work. Follow CHMS' standard form to correctly cite resources. This form is a modified MLA form. Download a pdf file of this complete document or click here to see an online version of the Standard Works Cited Form.
