Plagiarism is when a person purposely takes the work of others and represents it as his own. There are three ways to avoid plagiarism: paraphrasing, parenthetical documentation, and direct quotes. Plagiarism is a serious offense with consequences for students. CHMS has a standard form for students to use to correctly cite resources used for school projects. This form is a modified MLA form.
