The Research Cycle:
Step 4-Sorting Your Information

•Are you missing any necessary facts? If so, go back to your sources to locate the needed information.
•Did you use at least two print resources?
•Did you use at least two digital sources?
•Did you write accurate bibliographic citations for each source? It is very importatnt to credit the authors/sources from which you gathered information. See the "Standard Bibliography Form" sheet for the proper bibliographic citation format or refer to the bibliography page for additional help. Or you can visit Slate Citation Machine for help writing an accurate bibliographic citation.
•Do you have enough information to write one or two well-supported paragraphs for each question? Your notecards have kept your facts organized. Read your notes critically.

Think about what information you want to write about first. Organize your notecards in the order to plan to use them in your paper. Remember you want to capture the attention of the selection committee. You want to spotlight the accomplishments of your woman so they feel your woman is the ONLY choice for this prestigious first world dollar.

Conference with your teacher now before beginning your rough draft. You and your teacher must decide if you have enough information to write your research paper.
