Mission Statement

The Conowingo Elementary School community is committed to working together to provide a positive learning environment and high quality educational programs which promote life long learning for all our students. We recognize that in order to achieve our vision we must provide our students with a stimulating academic program that develops creative and critical thinking skills and an atmosphere that:

• encourages them to be self-sufficient learners
• promotes and shared responsibility for their education
• recognizes individual talents and varying instructional needs
• maintains a safe learning environment that promotes mutual respect and a positive self-perception

This focus will enable our students to achieve their full potential and become responsible, productive citizens.
