Weekly Highlights at EHS, Home of the 2009-2010 Cecil County Teacher of the Year, Cathie Lenhoff, and former teachers of the year, Sharon Thomas and Michael Fell.
Frau Lenhoff, our Cecil County Teacher of the Year, is collecting new and gently used children's books for students up to 14 years old for the Reading Unites Families program that provides books to prisoners and their families. The program is also in need of writing paper for the prison literacy program. Please consider donating, bring donations to Frau Lenhoff in the G Wing by November 30.
The National Honor Society is collecting canned food through first period classes. The Federation of Christian Athletes are collecting new unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots program also through first period.
EHS has always been a community school. One donation from each school family not only would encourage giving in our students but also would reinforce the importance of our school in our community's future.

The book fair will be held in the media center from November 30th - December 4th. Just in time for holiday shopping.
How can you start preparing for your HSA's?
You can review the concepts and practice multiple choice questions using the online courses offered by the state. There is no charge for this course; the instructions for accessing and using the course are included here.
You can attend the after school help sessions that are offered twice a week. See your HSA teacher or the main office for a permission slip.
EHS is recycling inkjet cartridges, cell phones, MP3 players, and digital cameras. Keep these out of our landfill and help your school. Bring them to A206 to Ms. Hapka.
