Your biology teacher can give you the username and password for our school account to log into the full online version. This site has many activities you can do to prepare for your test. Here are a few suggestions.

  • Go to the standardized test practice link and Chapter Test link from the left navigation links. There are multiple choice tests for each section of the textbook. Try the practice test. There is a hint for each question if you need help, and a page reference for the background information once you score your test and get an answer wrong. Follow these links to find the review information you need to understand the concept tested by the question.
  • The interactive tutor is a series of simple games to help you practice your biology vocabulary. There is a different type of game for each section of the textbook.
  • Internet Biolabs go through the procedures for some lab activities that illustrate the concepts of biology and include example student data reported by students from around the country.

Practice HSA tests: This link includes several tests from previous years and their answer keys. One of the best ways to prepare for a standarized test is to become familiar with the style of questions included on the test.
