When do students visit the media center?
Students are scheduled to visit the media center approximately every three weeks with their language arts class.  Students may visit the media center at other times with a pass from their teacher.

What happens if a student returns a book late?
Students are charged .05 a day in late fees.  The maximum late fee per book is $1.50.

What happens if a student loses a book?
Students are required to pay the replacement cost of the book.  If the book is found, students will receive a refund.

What newspapers are available?
The Cecil Whig
•The News Journal

What can students check-out?•Books for three weeks
•Back issues of magazines for 2 days
•Reference books – overnight or longer with special permission

 

Can students check-out books if they have overdue books or unpaid fines from books that were returned late?
No - Students with overdue books or unpaid late fines are not permitted too check-out materials.
