This year Cecil County Public Schools has decided to redirect intervention efforts and therefore will not be holding Elementary Summer School. After assessing the effectiveness of the program as compared to the funds it required, it has been decided that those funds would have a greater impact and would affect more students if they were used for various intervention programs throughout the school year.

Elementary students who qualify for "Extended School Year" services through the Special Education Department will continue to receive services as recommended by the IEP team.
