School Counselor

Mrs. Poteet’s Mission Statement:

As the Guidance Counselor for Kenmore Elementary School I will strive to provide a safe and successful learning environment. I will do so by ensuring students feel safe within themselves as well as in school and at home. I will challenge all students to make positive choices allowing them to be successful students and citizens.

As a member of the Kenmore staff I will work to support both the administration and the staff. I will offer assistance when needed and help to ensure that the staff feels successful and appreciated.

As a member of the Kenmore family I will work hand in hand with the parents of our community. I will help them to feel welcomed and supported. I will offer assistance at all times and will help guide parents in a direction that is positive for them and their child.
