Leeds Elementary School's Mission Statement

In our everyday duties as educators, we will put forth our best efforts to ensure that every child receives the support that is vital to personal fulfillment and academic success. We will work to ensure that the children of Leeds Elementary School receive a quality, diverse education, to decrease achievement gaps among subgroups and prepare our children to go forth into the world as life long learners.

Leeds Elementary School's Vision Statement
Leeds Elementary School will provide a safe, enjoyable, and nurturing learning environment to encourage students to become independent lifelong learners.  Students will receive quality instruction targeting their diverse needs to ensure academic and social success.

MEETING DATE CHANGE: The next PTO General Body meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 14th from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Media Center! Come out and let your VOICE BE HEARD - be a part of the Leeds PTO!

The annual Scholastic Book Fair will take place from Monday, October 6th - Friday, October 10th during media times. There will also be a FAMILY NIGHT on Wednesday, October 8th from 5 - 7 p.m.! See you there!

Show Your School SPIRIT! October 9th will be BACKWARDS DAY! (No Pants or Shoes Backwards - Hats are ALLOWED!)

One of the most popular Spirit Days - NO HOMEWORK DAY - returns on Wednesday, October 22nd!

Please join us for one of the most POPULAR events of the school year - OCTOBERFEST, sponsored by PTO, on Friday, October 24th from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m!

SPIRIT DAY ALERT: Friday, October 31st is ORANGE and BLACK DAY! (NO COSTUMES ALLOWED!)

81 students from Leeds Elementary (20%) participated in the summer reading program of the Cecil County Public Library! Mrs. Albanese has posted the names of the participants on the wall outside of the Media Center! Congratulations to all of our SUMMER READERS!
