Back-To-School Ice Cream Social
The students come and see their classrooms, meet their new teachers, see their old friends, say hi to past teachers, and GET SOME ICE CREAM. The beginning of the LES school year begins with the annual back-to-school Ice Cream Social!

Octoberfest
The PTO sponsored one of the most POPULAR events of the year on a beautiful, autumnal night in October. From the moonbounce to the cakewalk, to the basketball shoot and beanbag tic-tac-toe, there was something for the whole family. A magician even put on a magic show and made balloon animals for students. No one throws an event like Leeds Elementary School and the PTO!

LES Night at McDonalds
The PTO sponsored the second annual night at McDonalds this year! Faculty and staff, along with PTO members, got behind the counter and worked along with McDonalds employees with a portion of the proceeds going to the Leeds PTO!

Family Bingo Night
One of the most popular events of the year, sponsored by PTO, was a big success again this year! This year, teachers sponsored tables and students and their families and friends sat with them throughout the night!

Jump Rope For Heart
This year we welcomed back a favorite of students and teachers alike - JUMP ROPE FOR HEART! Under the direction of Physical Education Teachers Sue Snyder and Marti Connors and Integrated Arts Teacher Suzie Treese, ALL 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade students participated in this wonderful event that promotes physical activity for ALL students. In addition, students who wished were also asked to get donations with ALL PROCEEDS going to the AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION - with over $6,000 from Leeds being donated!

Diversity Day
Diversity Day is a day of collaboration between LES homeroom teachers and Mrs. Manning, art teacher, as they look at the many diverse styles, cultures, and people of the world. These are the pictures from the CCPS Diversity Day gallery walk at LES this school year.
