Spotlight on Teachers spot2

Nominations are now being accepted for Cecil County's Teacher of the Year award.

  • Students, parents, colleagues, administrators, and community organizations are encouraged to submit the name of a quality educatior who represents the best of the teaching profession.
  • Nominations must be recieved by February 26, 2010, in the Division of Education Services, George Washington Carver Education Leadership Center, 201 Booth Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
  • Nomination forms are available in schools. Please contact Dr. Carolyn Teigland, Associate Superintendent for Education Services, at 410-996-5464 or by e-mail at cteigland@ccps.org with questions concerning nominations.

Please be aware that the Cecil County Public Schools offers all parents the right to have their child(ren) excluded from any photos taken on school grounds. Since the list of students who must be excluded from photos cannot be disseminated to all parents, friends and relatives of our students, please respect the requests of your fellow parents when taking pictures at school events and include only your child in the photo (no group photos or photos of the audience). Thank you.
