ATHLETIC ADVISORY COUNCIL
Next meeting of the council will be held sometime in December 2007. The date has not been determined yet. It will be held at the central office located at 201 Booth Street in Elkton, MD.

SPORTS SCHEDULES
A list of the games scheduled for all the high schools during the different seasons. You can view and print schedules and sign up for email alerts if any change is made to the scheduled game.

COACHING CLINICS
All coaches shall have completed or be enrolled in a one-credit course in the prevention and care of athletic injuries. Coaches will have one year to complete the course.

Dates for school year 2008-09: (word version of all classes)

Fall Clinics
Begin on August 11, 2008 at Cherry Hill Middle School, 5:00 p.m. and continue on August 12 and 13 beginning at the same time.

The Rules Clinic will be held on August 14, 2008 at Havre de Grace High School beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Winter Clinics
Begin on November 10, 2008 at Cherry Hill Middle School, 5:00 p.m. and continue on November 11 and 13 beginning at the same time.

The Rules Clinic will be held on November 12, 2008 at Perryville High School beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The Wresting Weight Clinic will be held on November 11, 2008 at North East High School beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Spring Clinics
Begin on February 23, 2009 at Cherry Hill Middle School, 5:00 p.m. and continue on February 25 and 26 beginning at the same time.

The Rules Clinic will be held on February 24, 2009 at Aberdeen High School beginning at 6:00 p.m.

FREE PHYSICALS FOR EVERY STUDENT (PDF)
Information on the free physicals that are offered by CCPS for any student planning on participating in sports during the 2009-10 school year. We offer free physicals once a year so that every child has the opportunity to participate in athletics. This physical must be obtained during the school year (June 1, 2009 to June 1, 2010) in which the athlete is seeking eligibility.  This year, the date is tentatively scheduled for Monday, June 1, 2009 at Elkton High School. A copy of the physical form can be printed out here (physical form) or can be picked up at your child's school.
