Welcome to High School Social Studies!
Beginning with the in-coming freshman class of 2003-04, students are required to earn 4 credits in social studies in order to graduate. In addition to the state-mandated courses, all students must successfully complete a course in Contemporary World Studies that will be offered to senior students.
The following courses are electives and do not meet the University System of Maryland admission requirements:
Economics, Psychology, and AP Psychology.
