I currently teach 5th grade at North East Elementary.  I have been teaching since 2007.  I began my teaching career in 4th grade at Weigelstown Elementary in Dover, Pennsylvania.   I earned my B.S. degree in Elementary Education from York College of Pennsylvania.  I am currently earning my M.Ed in Instruction: Teaching and Learning from Wilmington University.  One interest of mine is traveling.  I have been to 19 states, Canada, Jamaica, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, and Vatican City.  Another interest is reading.  I have approximately 2,000 books and my favorite author is Stephen King.  Besides teaching, music would have to be my other passion.  Classic rock is my favorite genre; however, I like everything from bluegrass to heavy metal.  In terms of sports, I have played most in some form (either league or recreationally).  My favorites are football, bowling, and disc golf.
