Music
Music classes actively engage students in the process of creating and performing music. From the four-year-olds to the twelve-year-olds, all students are singing, moving, playing instruments (xylophones, ukuleles, congas, recorders, other percussion), listening to music, and even using computers to generate sounds and to create music.
Although driven by the creative and performance processes, classes also emphasize important historical and cultural facets of music and the development critical and analytical skills.
