Today Flat Stanley met Mrs. Vivian Vande Velde, the author of many fiction books including “Smart Dog,” “Troll Teacher,” and “Three Good Deeds” to name just a few. She autographed Calvert Elementary’s copy of her book, “Smart Dog.” She was very excited to meet Flat Stanley. This is her first picture with Flat Stanley!
