Hello!
There’s a chill in the air! The holiday decorations are going up, and the sales
are on at the mall! It must be time for the Bay View Elementary Winter Concert!
After long months of hard work and dedicated practice, the young musicians of Bay
View Elementary School are ready to showcase their talents. Come on out for a night
of fun and music!
Our Winter Concert will be held on Tuesday, December 11 in the Bay View
Elementary Cafeteria at 7:00. The concert will feature the Bay View Elementary
Orchestra, the Bay View Elementary Chorus and the Bay View Elementary Band, advanced level ONLY. Our students have been working hard to prepare a marvelous musical treat for your listening pleasure!
Please bring your young musician to the school by 6:30 pm on the evening of the concert. We will need some time to get lined up and tuned before our big performance. All band, orchestra, and chorus members are expected to attend the evening performance. We have put a lot of work into preparing for our performance, and we need EVERY MEMBER in order to make our evening a success! There are no ‘replacement’ players in the band, orchestra, or chorus. Every member is crucial to the success of the team! We want to give every musician a chance to show off all the hard work they’ve put in, and to enjoy the recognition they deserve for their efforts. And remember, your child will be performing on stage, so be sure they dress to impress! Concert dress will be white tops and black pants or skirts, with dark socks and shoes. Ties for boys are optional.
