All Blocks-After warm-up, BCRs were collected. Some students had a misconception and so I gave those that finished the BCR organizer until tomorrow to hand in the entire BCR. For those that didn’t even complete the organizer, than those are now late.
Then, I passed out the directions for the cup stacking activity. Then, the materials were passed out. Students were to work cooperatively in their groups to build a pyramid out of paper cups with a rubber band contraption. It was a task that took patience and teamwork. Some groups got frustrated because when a paper cup fell to the floor, they all had to go down to the floor with the rubber band contraption and pick it up TOGETHER without using their hands! It was a fun activity focusing on working cooperatively. The students really had fun.
HW: Be sure to bring your novel with you tomorrow to class. We will be using it for our warm-up. Next, complete the journal entry and the reading log which are located in the
