    Dragon’s Notes and News:

    Inclement Weather Make-up Days:  Due to the recent school closings, future days have been determined that will be used for make up days.

    The following days are now school days:  April 3rdApril 27th, and May 25th.

     

    Cecil County Health Department Flu Clinic:  The CCHD will offer a free flu clinic on February 7th from 4:00-8:00 pm.  Please see the attached flyer for details. CCHD Flu Clinic Flyer 2.7.18.pdf 

     

    Reminders from the Office:  When schools are closed early, and all after school activities are cancelled, that does include the Boys and Girls Club aftercare at Charlestown.  In this event, please contact the school office as soon as possible with alternate dismissal instructions.  Instructions must come from parents or legal guardians only.

    Please remember to send in notes for student absences.  Five or more absences in a marking period could result in failure if notes are not on file in the office before report cards are issued.

    Please remember to be at your child’s bus stop at the appointed time.  Students pre-k through 1st grade will not be let off the bus without a parent or guardian to receive them.  Students who are brought back to school via the bus could incur a monetary charge from the bus contractor.

     

    Maryland Food Bank at North East Elementary School and Bay View Elementary Schools:

    In conjunction with the Maryland Food Bank, North East and Bay View Elementary Schools are hosting several food distribution days at their schools.  The doors will be open from 4:00-5:30 pm on the select dates.  Any family from CCPS is welcome.  Please see the attached flyer for specific dates and locations.  Food Distribution Flyer WinterSpring 2017.pdf 

     

    School Mall Fundraiser is Coming Monday!!  Become a member of School Mall and to help the school raise money.  School Mall is an online shopping mall where anyone, anywhere can shop from top merchants like Walmart, Disney Store, Target, Best Buy, and over 400 other merchants.  When you shop with these merchants, our school can earn up to 50% of every purchase.  School Mall booklets with more information have arrived at the school and will be sent home on Monday, Febrary 5th.  Please contact the office if you have any questions.
