The Upper Chesapeake Summer Center for the Arts (UCSCA) is an eight-day residential program held at historic Washington College. UCSCA provides comprehensive curricula that go beyond the traditional academic program in Two & Three Dimensional Visual Arts, Dance, Digital Arts, Theatre, Band, Strings, Vocal, and Literary Art. The camp includes a staff of highly skilled instructors in each of these disciplines, as well as a counselor staff of college-aged adults currently working towards degrees in the artistic fields.

Nestled within the historic countryside of Kent County, Washington College offers an aesthetically pleasing and enriched environment which includes a state of the art performing venue, Gibson Center for the Performing Arts, as well as a visual art studio, Larabee Center.

New and renovated dormitories provide comfortable and spacious residential facilities for 200+ participants and staff. A spectrum of "all-you-can-eat" culinary treats await participants at the Hodson Hall.

Students spend their day receiving instruction in a group setting as well as one-on-one instruction time in their discipline. While the focus of the camp is the eight art disciplines, there is a myriad of activities planned for the students during the week as well, which include: Literary Night, Scavenger Hunts, Trivia Games, Talent Show, and a Dance to wrap up the week.

Camp concludes with final performances for friends and family to attend and see the finished products of what their young artists have accomplished over the eight days at camp.
