Hello, my name is Lynn Dech, I have been a service coordinator with the Judy Center Home Visiting Program for over ten years. In my position, I work with families providing resources, referrals, parenting skills, and much more.  I also provide play activities for children to promote school readiness utilizing the Frog Street Program. I have been with Cecil County Public School System for almost 20 years and have 25 years of experience working in public education.  If you are a Thomson Estate family and are interested in learning more about the home visiting program, please give me a call:410-996-1059. I look forward to working with you.

My name is Sarah Mester and I am one of the Early Education Specialists for the Judy Center.  I have worked in the Cecil County Public School system for 15 years.  My experience as a Special Educator, Instructional Coach, and Infant/Toddler Service Coordinator has focused on supporting young children and families.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons.  We are an outdoorsy family and like to go camping and spend time outside.  I also like having time for hobbies like running, yoga, biking, and paddle boarding.

THe first five years of a child's life are filled with an astonishing amount of learning and growing.  We are here at the Judy Center to help you and your child connect, grow, learn, and play!  Join us!  Feel free to reach out to me with questions.

  • Hi! My name is Katie Valetutti and I’ve had the pleasure of working with the Cecil County Judy Center Partnership full-time for almost ten years. I like to refer to myself as ‘Katie the Play Group Lady’ because my primary focus is providing playgroups for families with little ones age birth to five.  We learn together through play, connecting, and fun! I love encouraging adults on their parenting journey and getting to be a small part of it along the way! And......we are now virtual!

My husband, Brian, and I have daughters in high school and college. We enjoy spending time with each other and enjoying the beauty of the bay, hiking wooded trails, and enjoying the four seasons, especially fall!

Please reach out to me at playgroup if you have any questions about connecting with other families who have little ones.  Thank you!

Hello!  My name is Ashlie Allen and I am one of the Judy Center Early Education Specialists for Cecil County.  I am eager to begin my journey working with the Judy Center.

I was born and raised in Cecil County.  After attending college at Towson University, I was hired as an early childhood teacher for Cecil County Public Schools, where I have been for the last 15 years.  I have had experience teaching PreKindergarten and Kindergarten and I can say that the youngest learners have my heart!  I love watching them learn and grow.

I am excited to contribute my ideas and talents and to be a resource for families, educators, and children in our community.
