Cancellation Due to Inclement Weather - The school principal involved or the supervisor of transportation may cancel any field trip due to inclement weather. The principal should consider the comfort of the children as well as their safety. The supervisor of transportation will consider safety and the effect that normal slow down for safe operation may have on regular school transportation - possibly early dismissal or field trip bus returning after regular buses have taken children home. Saturday and evening trips must also be considered. Administration and or teaching staff should check the cancellation policy of field trips prior to authorizing
Fair Hill Process - Fair Hill Nature Center will set up the dates for each school to attend as well as transportation.
- Grade 2 - half day and the cost is $1.75
- Grade 3 - Full day and the cost is $1.75
- Grade 4 - Full day and the cost is $2.50
- Grade 5 - Full day and the cost is $2.50
