Cecil County Public Schools offers a Prekindergarten program in each of its 17 elementary schools. The program is geared toward children who will be four years of age on or before September 1 and currently reside in Cecil County.
Prekindergarten is a half-day program offered five days a week. In order to be considered for admission into PreK, parents/guardians must complete an application and take it to the school associated with your permanent home address or your daycare provider's address. Accompanying documentation must include proof of income (if trying to qualify as "economically disadvantaged"), a copy of the child's birth certificate, and proof of residency in Cecil County. (See Cover Letter below for more details) Parents/guardians will receive a letter of acceptance if their child has qualified for a Pre-Kindergarten session.
You may apply by going to your local elementary school to complete an application or you may print the forms below and take them to your local elementary school. We encourage ALL interested parents/guardians to apply!
