There are 4 building administrators, 79 teachers, 4 guidance counselors, 1 school psychologist, 8 administrative assistants, 7 paraprofessionals, 6 custodial staff, 7 kitchen staff, and a School Resource Officer to support students at NEHS.

Accomplishments
In 2016, PBS NewsHour did a special on the 2016 presidential election which featured NEHS students and teachers.
The total amount of scholarship money earned by the Class of 2017 exceeded 6.5 million dollars.
Over 67% of the 2017 class planned to continue their education into 2 to 4 year colleges including 1 Ivy League School.
Sixty-two students graduated from Cecil County School of Technology.
NEHS has a state and nationally recognized FBLA Club. In 2016, a NEHS student earned National Chapter of the Year at the National Level Conference.
NEHS Drama Club performed two outstanding shows last year for students, families, and the community.
NEHS Fishing Club won the 2016 & 2017 Maryland High School Fishing State Championship.
NEHS Cheerleaders won three championships over the past 2 years (2015-2016).
NEHS Softball Team won the 2A Regional Championship in 2016.
Over 100 students and staff members participated in the 2016-2017 Blood Bank of Delmarva High School Blood Drive Program. In 2017, NEHS students, staff, and community members participated in Comcast Cares Day to beautified the campus.
