Biography

Madison Rodgers is a senior at Elkton High School and the Cecil County School of Technology. She is enrolled in the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) program at CCST. Madison is active in her school community as a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Council at EHS, where she serves as secretary. She is also a member of the County Council as the CCST Representative, Key Club advisor, Chess Club member, a Member of W.E.L.K. (We Are Elkton) News, Secretary of the GSA, and musical manager and tech advisor of the Drama Club. Madison participates in sports at Elkton High, being on the softball and field hockey teams and also part of the color guard at Elkton.

Outside of school, Madison is committed to engaging with her community by helping with outreach programs, volunteering at schools and hospitals, reading at the local library, and speaking at reading conventions about her struggle with dyslexia. Madison is also a petition advocate for many organizations. Additionally, she is starting her business career by managing a food truck she built with her dad while taking business classes. 

One of Madison's many goals is to create a bridge between students and the Board of Education, and she looks forward to representing all students of CCPS while serving as a Student Member of the Board.
