Budget and Financial Information

Budget presentations and approved budgets are organized by fiscal year (see the links below). Budget Request Presentations are presented to the Board of Education in public meetings for consideration and input before approving and sending the request to the Cecil County Executive. The Approved Annual Budget is the final Board of Education approved budget for a given fiscal year. Each annual budget includes the following: 

• Operating Budget – Restricted and Unrestricted Expenditures
• Capital Improvement Budget – State and Local capital appropriations for major addition and renovation projects
• Debt Service Budget – Local appropriations to principal and interest payments on outstanding construction bonds
