Public Complaints For Educational Materials
The responsibility for providing instructional materials for the schools remains with the Superintendent and the Board of Education. To meet this responsibility, policies and procedures have been developed which reflect the Board of Education's belief that careful consideration must be given in selecting materials which are consistent and compatible with community concerns and established curriculum.
A broad group of stakeholders support the development and approval of our curricular materials and resources including teachers, administrators, parents, and students.
In the event an individual or group requests the reconsideration of curriculum, instructional or library media center materials, an appeals process will be used.
