Maintenance

The Maintenance Department strives to provide and maintain a secure, safe, and comfortable learning environment for the students and staff of Cecil County Public Schools. A sampling of our services are; facility inspections, compliance requirements, emergency response, indoor air quality testing, hazardous waste disposal management, maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems, equipment, and vehicles, and maintaining grounds and preparing athletic fields for sports events.

The Facilities Department is dedicated to providing services and maintaining facilities to support lifelong learning and productive citizenship to all Cecil County Public School students.

Our vision is to continuously improve and grow as a department in order to provide support, guidance, resources, and services to all other departments and each school.

Temperature range for occupied space should be 72-78°F in the cooling months and 68-72°F in the heating months.
