Biography
Addison Metcalfe is a Senior at Rising Sun High School and is eager to represent CCPS students for the 25-26 school year. Throughout her one-year term, she plans to elevate the voices of students and help ensure that our learning environment is inclusive and safe.
Addison is a member of Rising Sun High School’s Student Council, which plans events like homecoming and pep rallies, as well as other student events. In the past year, she served as the Parliamentarian for the council and was elected vice president for the upcoming school year. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, where she serves by completing community service hours throughout the year.
Outside of school, Addison enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and acting. She plans to attend college for political science and eventually law school, but she is committed to continuing to advocate for others after graduating from high school.
Addison’s overarching goal is to ensure that students feel represented and heard, regardless of their race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion, and to help students have a greater impact on their day-to-day lives at school.
