Biography
Tierney Davis has been involved with Cecil County youth athletics as a coach and mentor for well over a decade and has a 25-year teaching background with the military, airline industry, and Federal government. He attended Southern Illinois University, where he studied Journalism and Criminal Justice, and has been an Analyst and Auditor for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) since 2002.
Tierney and his wife, Doreen, moved to Cecil County in 1999. They have one teenage son, Tierney Jr., who graduated from Elkton High School in 2023.
Mr. Davis was elected to the Board of Education in 2020. He brings a strong background as a consensus builder and believes that the school board should be an extension of the community and represent the interest of the people. He promises to work tirelessly on behalf of the students and faculty of CCPS and believes that the long-term success of our community is dependent upon a strong educational foundation.
