Early College Academy

The Early College Academy, co-located at Cecil College, Elkton High School, and Perryville High School, will enroll students beginning in Grade 9. Successful students will complete high school with a high school diploma and an Associate’s degree from Cecil College. Each year up to 25 students are selected for admission to the Academy. 

Prior to their freshman year, Academy students will participate in an Orientation Program to introduce them to academic expectations and resources available to them during their four years in the Academy. Throughout their enrollment, students are supported by tutors, mentors, and advisors from CCPS and Cecil College. While taking classes, students are guided through seminars and individualized advising to help them build the academic skills needed to succeed in high school and college coursework.
