Welcome to Kenmore Elementary School located in Elkton, Maryland. At Kenmore, exemplary teaching and learning takes place daily in our vibrant school community. In cooperation with all constituents that are part of the Kenmore community, we work to successfully meet the needs of each of our students. We are proud of the high level of excellence that is demonstrated each day by our students, teachers, and larger faculty. The students of Kenmore have a long history of academic excellence and continue to demonstrate that they are learning and achieving at high levels. Our school goals are designed to support all students in improving their overall performance in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Additionally, Kenmore Elementary School is entering its sixth year as a PBIS school. We've had great success with this program and recently received the Gold Award from PBIS Maryland for the fourth consecutive year. The contributions of our extraordinary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) are visibly evident. Kenmores PTO has partnered with the school administration to provide our students and staff with state-of-the-art technology, which includes Smartboards, Chromebooks, document cameras, and high quality two-way radio communications for every staff member. Our PTO works hand and hand with the administration to develop programs and opportunities that bring pride to our school community and provide an exciting and engaging learning environment for all.
