All families interested in enrolling in PK 3 or PK 4 programs MUST provide annual income information as part of the application process. Income verification forms must be submitted for an application to be considered.
**The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) requires the submission of income information and verification documentation for participation in voluntary Prekindergarten 3 and 4 programs.
Children enrolling in PK 4 programs:

Must be 4 by September 1, 2024

Must be a Cecil County resident

Priority is given to applicants with an annual family income of 300% FPL (Federal Poverty Level) or less.
Cecil County Public Schools' Prekindergarten 4 programs are full-day programs with classes at each of our 17 elementary schools.
Cecil County Public Schools, in partnership with Mount Aviat Academy, offer Prekindergarten 3 and Prekindergarten 4 seats in both public and private locations.
Mount Aviat Academy offers 18 seats for children eligible for PK 4 and 10 seats for children eligible for PK 3. Eligibility for attending school at this private provider location includes meeting age requirements and income requirements.
Families select their choice to request a PK 3 or PK 4 seat within the online application for enrollment
Bus transportation services are not provided to Mount Aviat Academy. Families must self-transport if enrolled at this private provider location.

Free and Reduced Meal Benefit Application
Free and Reduced Meal Benefit Applications are now available online for meal benefits for the 2024-2025 school year. Filling out the application online is the preferred method and can be approved overnight.
